Hi Anu,

Difficult question, however you can say C++ is a kind of traditional language where you need to worry about memory management, pointers etc. C# is a new modern language purely developed for .NET seeing the use of modern programming need. Here is some of the link that will help you understanding why one over another

mmh met this question six year ago in vbforums.com , i think i started the post :) notorious ne :)

i will not post any links , i would like us to debate this here on DNF so that other might be refered to DNF one day.

But ya in today's life C++ programmers are decreasing.

*) I takes long to develop something in C++ than in C# :)
*) New technologies like Silverlight and other Technologies dont support C++.
*) I am not sure if you can even create WCF Services in C++
*) WPF can never be done C++

As you can see almost the future Technologies of Microsoft dont have C++ in the Road map

If C# one day can be strong for Embeded Programming or let me rather say, if C# supported multiple inheritance we would be having a different conversation today. Java is dead for me, C++ is not near the end, but in the future it might be classified as Cobol

What your Comments
