How to clear controls of 1 user control from selected index change of a drop downlist in another U.C

Hello,

I have a user control of a Date Box which contains Month and Year and Submit button.
I have another user control which has several controls.

When i change the Year or Month it should clear all the contents in my controls below....how should i do it??

i have my clear controls method ready which i will be writing on the selected index change event of Month and Year DDL in user control 1.
But, how will i be able to do it?? Please help me out...
