SQL Server 2008 R2 Attachment Problem

Hi,

When i want to attach any DB to SQL Server 2008 R2 Even the DB i want to attach is the DB of same SQL Server 2008 R2 version.... The error message Like this:

The database cannot be opened because it is version 661. This version supports version 612 and earlier. A downgrade path is not supported.

Please help me in this issue ... Even i repair again and again my SQL Server 2008 R2 .

0	Hi 1. When you try to attach the database with SQL Server 2008 the database compressed and automatically upgraded from SQL 2005 to to SQL Server 2008. 2. So, The actual structure of the database modified to the new version automatically. Note: What is the database(Detached database) version which you want attach ? Hi

Note: What is the database(Detached database) version which you want attach ?

0	Hi There are two different method to setup sample database. 1) Running SQL Script 2) Restoring Database Backup. There are few common steps in both the process. We will see the common process first and then after see both the method to setup sample database in detail. Common Steps: Download the .msi package from codeplex based on your operating system and your SQL Server version. I have used Adventureworks DB version of 2005 as that is what was question from user.
