1)of all the authentication modes windows, passport and forms
which one is used for The hindu site
The credit card application site and - for example recharge sundirect / or tatasky online site.
any intranet sites? http://<some xyz>

2) can i have urls like this ...www123.aspdotnetschool.com
3) can i have my own icons in the address bar. for example www.dotnetfunda.com has the iexplore icon.
can i have a school icon for this site www123.aspdotnetschool.com
