Hi,

Any experts in share point can help me on this?

I would like to start a development with share point service to learn the features. I have Win 7 system, is it possible to install the share point in win 7 and start exploring it? Can any one let me know the requirements to install and start using the share point development.

0	Hi, If you are going to install Moss(Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services) 2007 then you should have Windows 2003 R2 with the latest service pack. Then install SQL 2005 (and latest service pack) with typical settings. Assign your service account to the 'Security Administrators' and 'Database Creators' server roles in SQL server (You will need to use SQL Server Management Studio). or goto below mentioned link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262485.aspx Hardware: 1.Atleast 1GB RAM Software: 1.Windows Server 2003 OS with SP1 2.SQL Server 2000/2005 with sp3 3.IIS 6.0 Then you can install MOSS..
