Hyperlink navigate url problem..

hi..

i have hyperlink control.
in that i was set imageurl value from database. its working fine.

i was set navigaturl="www.google.com". this value also came from database.
if i clicked the navigaturl i.e) inside image i got this error messaage.

error message is:
i.e) The resource cannot be found
HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
/webfiles/www.google.com

how to handle this..

need ur suggetsions with examples.
