Hi,

@Susan,Your question is wrong just ask differences between Web and Windows application in .Net.
Because ASP.Net objects supports only Web Application.

Web Application

6) Common Web applications include Webmail, online retail sales, online auctions, wikis, discussion boards, Weblogs

Windows Application

1)A program that is written to run under Microsoft's Windows operating system.
2)Windows applications typically run under all 32-bit versions of Windows, but earlier applications might also run under the 16-bit versions (Windows 3.x) as well.
3) runs on personal computers and work stations.
4)window based app. need to be install on your machine to access.
5)windows applications (desktop) need to be installed on each client's PC.
6)Windows application runs faster than Webapplication.
7.Windows application have many inbuilt classes in .Net compared to Web application.
