any body tell me store procedure step by step,i want to insert data in database by the store procedure
pls tell me step by step

For how to's like this and many more, Sheo has recently written a very nice .NET How to's series, get it from http://www.itfunda.com/Howto and Insert has been covered at http://www.itfunda.com/how-to-insert-records-into-the-database/Free/126.

Now for your question, download the attached application from http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article71.aspx and search for Insert method in PersonDAL3.cs class. The stored procedure should be in the database.

syntax for storedprocedure
create procedure procedurename
(@arg1 datatype,
@arg2 datatype,

)
as
begin
insert into tablename(val1,val2,val3....) values(@arg1,@arg2...)
end
