hi,

The attached sample works fine. It able to convert the data into pdf file.
If you want to display the created pdf file then, in the attached sample
Response.WriteFile(path + "/SampleText.pdf"); //you can remove or still have this line

Response.Redirect("~/PDF_ITEXT/SampleText.pdf"); // add this line
Response.End();//you can remove or still have this line

Regards,
Bugwee

For converting some data into pdf format you can use PDF Duo .NET component.
http://www.duodimension.com/html_pdf_asp.net/component_html_pdf.aspx

The component specializes in converting text and html to pdf. So asp.net developers can generate pdf files runtime.
It is very easy in use and doesn't require any additional dlls. Here is a sample of its using C# code:
string html = @"<b>Convert</b> html <i>text</i> to <span style="color: green;">pdf</span>";

string file_pdf = @"K:\new.pdf";
DuoDimension.HtmlToPdf conv = new DuoDimension.HtmlToPdf();
conv.OpenHTML(html);
conv.SavePDF(file_pdf);

1.You can use iTextSharp dll to do that
2.Can use Reporting service as well to convert the output to .pdf,.xls or .doc on the fly.

Thanks,
Sanjay
