I have problem in installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Management Studio on Windows 7,although I have installed Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1.

Is MS SQL Management Studio 2008 not compatible with Windows 7?

It shows me a .msi file missing error while installing management studio 2008 .

Is it necessary to install Visual Studio Service Pack 1 for installing management studio 2008?
