Create a Web application in sharepoint

Hi,

I have created one sample webapplication in sharepoint server 2010. If i want access that web application it is not opening in browser.

So, How to open that web application?

0	Creating web application 1. Go to Central Administration => Application Management select Web Application, create new web application give the required details port no: etc. After successful completion of web application it shows a link to "Create Site Collection" .Give title,description,web site address etc .When OK is clicked ur new site will opens in browser.Save site address for future use. 0	Once you create a web application,you have to create a site collection.We have to specify the URL that you want while creating a site collection. If the web Application is not getting opened,Please check whether the web application is stopped in IIS.If so, restart it and try again. Happy Coding!!!!
