Caching concept explain?

Please explain the Caching concept internally how it IIS is handling.

From button press in the Client widow and request reaches to IIS?

How the Caching will maintain..

Good question Naga,

It depends on which type of caching you are going to implement. The basic concept of caching is that the processed data is stored in memory or the database and in subsequent request the data is not processed again but cached data (that was stored in memory) is retrieved and served to the user/client.

There are several types of caching
1. Fragment caching/Partial caching - can be implement using User control
2. Page output caching
3. Data caching
