0	this error occurs when ur sql server connection failed to open. generally ths happnd cause of wrong instance name. check ur instance name and use it like 'instance_name\sqlexpress' at logon screen Avdesh, if this helps please login to Mark As Answer. \| Alert Moderator

1.check sql server service on or off
SQL Server should be up and running.

1.22) Enable TCP/IP in SQL Server Configuration

2.change firewall setting
1.2 type firewall.cpl or
Open Port in Windows Firewall
Go to Control Panel >> Windows Firewall >> Change Settings >> Exceptions >> Add Port
Make the following entries in popup "Add a Port" and click OK.

Name : SQL
Port Number: 1433
Protocol: Select TCP

* (optional)if u use norton or nay firewall software firwal pot change by add new rules in firewall
i am not click on finished because i allready done it
after all that u install ms sql server 2008
then
do that i lern from lot of artical from internet and i made video
