Hi,
I have to give a calendar read only option on client panel of a website
and its update or add new events should be in admin panel of the same website

client panel means open to public
admin panel means only administrator have rights to update / add new of all content of the website.

I can use Google calendar - but its design and color is not suitable for my website design.

Requesting suggestion in this regard along with reference link and sample code.

The ASP.NET Calendar control has everything you need to do, you can learn about it http://www.dotnetfunda.com/tutorials/controls/calendar.aspx. It has property as well to make it read only.

Here is some more example of adding event - http://www.dotnetfunda.com/forums/thread4672-how-to-mark-the-event-in-the-calendar-control.aspx and http://www.dotnetfunda.com/articles/article600-customising-the-calendar-control-in-aspnet-.aspx.

Apart from that some Calendra FAQs are also there that you can see from http://www.itfunda.com/Calendar/tag/Free (require login - paid).

I would suggest you to play with different properties of Calendar control and you would do what you wanted to.

Thanks
