how many types of API's we have?

and google-api-for-dotnet,
dotnet api,
youtube api,
operating system api
application api....i seen what are all these api's?

what the relationship with api's and .net?******************
API in object-oriented languages? ?

0	Hi Hmanjarawala, I am not answering here... I have a doubt here: API (application programming interface) -- Is this means the one we used during in Ntier applications.
