How to store this type of values 'Net I (0.00 B/s)' in sql server 2005

Hi,

You have to use datatype as nvarchar(max) or varchar(max) for storing these type of values

Hi Sekar.c ,

if the column accepts fixed length value every time then use Char and
if datalenght in too much variable then only use varchar(lenght) type
here i dont think you should take nvarchar datatype as it takes more bytes 2 times more than varchar
which take more size on disk and perform slower,


example :


create table #table (data varchar(20))
GO

insert into #table
select 'Net I (0.00 B/s)'


Select * From #table
