Hi all,

i need to make a website, where a customer can login and update the content of the website. I am wondering how to do this and what kind of control i should use.

Hi ,
You can use Textbox.
Just Download FreeTextBox.
It gives you a help file of 4-5 steps , just follow this and you are done.

Hi,
For content use field of ntext or nvarchar and then use WYSWYG editors like FCKEditor,CKEditor,Freetext Editor to store formatted output.
Show user authorized links eiter in treeview or in menu , so that authenticated user can see authorized links and then open and edit this.

Thanks dude..it will definitely help. What kind of control(text box, label etc) should i be using in front page (html page or inline code, i dont konw which is the right term to explain better.) however, any code will help more... otherwise i will mark this as answer...

Dear Sir SKsamantaray,

Thanks for you all help I made a table in database with filed names - autoID, page url, description and active. I made the update, insert and delete description interface via FreeTextBox.

Now I cannt figure out how to display this saved dated in database on the fornt end. There are a few more issues in the project. i know its bit cheeky but Can I ring you, i got your no from ur CV.

If you want to manage the date formats in front end refer to:
