avoid firing a particular button

Hi,

in my current application ,first is a login screen ,after login go to registration page.there is a logout button there. i set its tab index to particular number.the problem is if i enter textbox and press enter button logout button is firing.i want to avoid this.logout button should fire only i press logout button.

how to solve this

Check ur tab index and rearrange that values.then it'll be work properly.

Hi

you can set default button and Default focus in form tag
Give the ID to default button for the control which you want to Postback
