Calclating date difference inside the gridview

Hi All,
I have a page which contains a gridview. In that gridview i will bind date in a Column( Date). In another column(Priority) i should find the date difference of all dates in Column(Date) and put the priority number as 1,2,3.... like that. The Date which comes first, will get the first priority. Can you give some idea to do this task. Thanks in advance
