Hello, I need help (noob) I want to know how I can use a customvalidator with a database and how to do it.
I have a table called duesvotes which holds the values entered into a form on a webpage and writes to a database(this part works)
I need to know how I can take the sessionstate "Chapter" and pass that to the dues table and have it check to see if the chapter column to see if there is already and entry there.
I am working with VB. I Have posted the code below.
