How do I set values for EventArgs

I have a custom control which I want dynamically created LinkButtons to pass values into when they are clicked.
I've set one of the LinkButtons' CommandArgument to "6" then used the AddHandler for it's click event to point to the relevant event handler.
The event handler is getting called fine, but the problem I'm having is that e just equates to EventArgs according to the Immediate Window.
Even though sender doesn't feature the smart intellisense - I am able to check sender.id and sender.CommandArgument which show the correct values being passed in.
What I'd ideally like to do is get the LinkButton to pass in the following EventArgs (presumeably readable via the e parameter):
