paging last page not ikke first page

Hi,
I've found a method to do paging, wich works perfect except that when loading the page it goes to first page and not last page...I want it to be a choise in the code if it should load first or last page.
I know I have to use:

int currentPage = DataPage.PageCount - 1; //Add
DataPage.CurrentPageIndex = currentPage; //Add

But I dont know where to put in the code. If I try to put the two above lines in, it runs to the last page......But then I cann't go to the other pages when clicking pagenumbers. It stays on the last page. Someone who knows where to put the code in? (I want it that way instead of CreatePagingLinks(bool displayRows) it should be CreatePagingLinks(bool displayRows, bool lastPage) - so I make my choise when using the CreatePagingLinks.
The code where I try to put currentpageindex in look like this:
