Okay, this has me completely stymied. At
first, I was trying to use the FindControl() method of a page to return a
reference for a control which I created dynamically at run time.
This was not
working. So, as part of my troubleshooting, I tried to just return a reference
to a control which existed at design time. I was not even able to do that.
The control which I am trying to return is in a ContentPlaceHolder within
a master page.
The XML markup of the ContentPlaceHolder is:
