In SL2 Beta 1, I built a SL Library, and in that library, I would do the following,

Create a Grid and polulate it with objects

Return that Grid to the caller, and the caller would add it to the children of a container.
This was done as the result of a query to the database, and it worked perfectly in SL2 Bata 1.

However, in SL2 Beta 2, I get an exception when I do "new Grid();".

Is object creation limited to the UI thread now, or is this a bug?

One more thing:  My server call is done using HttpWebRequest, and I noted in the documentation that the "delegates are changed to return on a background thread".  Does this mean that if called in the UI thread, they USED to come back on that thread, but no longer do that?
