I'm have a developed a videoplayer user control in CLR. I'm trying to get the full screen mode to work but I'm not getting it right.
When the fullscreen button is pressed I wan't the mediaelement to resize itself to the fullscreen size and to arrange itself ontop of all other content.
It seems simple but I can't figure out how to solve the last part...
I've tried to make a popup control and then move the media element from it's old place in the control hierarchy to the popup. This however resets the mediaelement - as it first have to be removed from the xaml and then inserted again - thus forcing you to load the video again.
Am I even on the right track here? If so, is there any salvation to hope for?
Also, I just found this article which covers my problem but gives no solution.
