DAte in database retrieved in dropdownlist

Hi any help, how can i make my saved date put in my drop down? for sample in may database the date wa saved as 3/3/2012 and i have 3 dropdown, i want my first dropdown retrieved the 3 and the nexr 3 and ext the year.. i dont know how to do that. im using asp.net c#. thanks
