Send email with adesired display name

Hi all
I'm trying to send an email from my web application. I follow the standard procedure, i.e. create MailMessage object with its From, To, Subject etc. properties.
I'd like to know how to make, let's say, gmail to display my email's sender name with text chosen by me. At the moment it just displays sender text as a username, taken from MailMessage's From property.
I'd like, for example, my full name to be shown as a sender's name with its underlying reply address of course.
