inline code and code behind

Hi,


I have some inline code


<td valign="top" width="80"><%#getWeekdayNL(DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "dag"))%></td>


The function getWeekdayNL is defined in a code-behind:

<%@ Page inherits="Kalender" Src="Kalender.aspx.vb"%>


But the compiler says that 'getWeekdayNL' is not declared.


Can I use functions and subs in inline code?


Just out of curiousity, is it possible to write aspx pages without inline codes and do everything with controls?
