Right now i use
javascript:history.go(-1)
Which works ok, but provides some unexpected results (eg. you edit a form and it refreshes with errors, hitting back will go back to the form, not the page that called the form in the first place)
How do you guys handle this
Do you create a static "Stack" type of structure and you keep pushing new urls on top of it everytime a new link is clicked, and the "Back" button points to the url top of stack, and when its clicked you pop it?
Is there a standard way to solve this problem?
How much harder does it get when you add a "Forward" button?
