I've got a small website. There will be many users, but only 2 roles - Admin and everyone else. There's only going to be 2 admins.
The whole ASP.net role/membership thing with aspnet (aspnet_regsql, etc.) just seems like way to much overhead and I don't want to go there. BUT - I need to use a web.sitemap and I want to use roles somehow within that context. Admins ONLY are allowed in the Admin folder.
I have created a roles table in SQL Server, along with a UsersInRoles table. I just can't quite get the concept of how to tie that in with the web.sitemap file ROLES node.
Has anyone got a very-much scaled down example of roles for something like this?
