Hopefully somebody will be able to help me out. I've been pounding my head for days looking into a way to use an iframe to execute an ajax webservice, but I can't figure it out. Is there anyone out there that may be able to share some pointers on how to get this to work?
I have already looked into the old ATLAS version, but there were too many unknowns about it to continue that path further without seeking some advice (particularly the IFrameHandler on the server).
Personally, I am obviously a bit surprised that ASP.NET Ajax is not fully compatible with their own browser (IE 6) which is still very widely used.
FYI, I am fine with having UpdatePanels perform postbacks, I only care about getting web services to work properly.
