I am very new to ASP, and I can not figure out how to pass a local variable into an ASP SQL datasource block. Any help would be appriciated. Alternitavely would be helpfule to know how to populate an ASP text box with a default value of my vaiable. When I try this it tells me that the vairable is not defined, I have tried to create a public variable, but apparently I don't know where to plug this in. The below code does not return any results, but I know the correct userid is being returned because I can do a Reponse.Write and get the correct userid, the variable is just not being passed.
