issue with OnCancelButtonClick event for ChangePassword control

I want to send the user back to the previous page when they click the "Cancel" button in my ChangePassword page. I am using the ChangePassword control for the Login toolset in ASP.NET.
I thought I could just insert some javascript like this:

 <asp:ChangePassword ID="ChangePassword1" runat="server" OnCancelButtonClick="javascript:history.back();" >
        </asp:ChangePassword>
 but that, obviously, doesn't work.
 Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can accomplish this simpe thing?
