Hi,

I have got a very complex scenario were requests are routed to different servers depending on the URLs.

For example, requests with the pattern /Articles/* are forwarded to a server while requests with /StaticPages/* end up on another box.

Both servers are running ASP.NET web sites and both need to make use of the virtual url /WebResource.axd

This makes it impossible to setup a rule that routes the requests to the different servers as the URLs... are the same.

I wonder whether it is possible to replace on one of the servers the use of /WebResource.axd with something else (e.g. /WebResource2.axd).

I was hoping for a setting in the web.config but I have never read anything about this and so far the only possible solution I see is using Response.Filter to post-process the output and replace all the instances programmatically.

Any idea?
