I'm using Forms authentication with the built in Membership functions in asp.net.
I want my users to be able to do a Password Recovery that sends them an e-mail with their username and a new password.
However, I am having some trouble with using <asp:PasswordRecovery>.  First off, if the account is locked, I just get an error message that says "We were unable to access your information. Please try again."  I'd rather say that the account is locked.  Second, I would like to restrict some Roles from being able to use this function.  I can't seem to figure out how to fix either of these.
I made a form where you can enter a username, it checks and make sure the account is valid, whether or not the account is locked, and whether or not the account is in a restricted group.
However, I don't know how to trigger the e-mail to go out to give the user a new password.
Is there a way to send out this e-mail in the code behi ...
