Hi Everyone: Recently I installed Windows 7 RC1 in my laptop just to test drive it until its expiration date next year. On this machine I also installed de Oracle 10 Instant Client and Visual Studio 2005 Express in order to do some development. The problem I am having is that when I am trying to access Oracle stored procedures I am getting the following message: OCIEnvCreate failed with return code -1 but error message text was not available. I searched around and found one possible solution; it is suggested that I should allow the asp.net account read and write access to the bin directory of the Oracle Instant client installation. The things is that I don't seem to find the account in windows 7. I didn't have this problem when the laptop was running Windows XP.... I will appreciate any help on this manner Thanks... ...
