How to code a DropdownList control into a subDir For_Next loop, to collect the file names?

Triying to add a DropDownList following each subDir to display the files under each subDir,
I added the <asp:DropDownList> codes before the Nexy %>.
Two questions:
1. Can I add the <asp DropdownList> codes into the inline <% %> VB codes.
2. How do I define the ListItem Collection for the file names under each subDir?
