Im really running out of ideas over what is probably a simple problem. Basically I have created a winform programme in VB.net and Im now trying to put it into an ASP.Net page. The problem is I have some textboxes that are called up in the code using a mixture of text and variables. So an example:
"r" & x + 1 & "c" & y + 1
This would end up being "r2c4" fpr example.
I have changed the webform textboxes to the the same name as the winform textboxes.
I have wrapped this in: CType("r" & x + 1 & "c" & y + 1, Textbox) but kept getting:
BC30311: Value of type 'String' cannot be converted to 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox'.
