I have created a website in ASP.NET VB.net using MS Visual studio 2010 and used report viewer control 2010. The problem is that when i publish my web site and put the published site in the iis7 folder and create the application, the web site works except the report viewer control.
When i place the website ont compiled to iis7 the report viewer works.
Let me give you some hints because believe me i have spent many hours on this issue.
1. i have created the http handlers mannualy into iis7 for report viewer control
2. i am using application pool framework 4 classign (integrated pool is not valid for reportviewer 2010)
3. report viewer is displaying ok when i run the web site locally from my dev environment vs2010
4. report viewer 2010 is installed in MS Server 2008 with admin privileges
5. report viewer works when site is deployed to win2008 server but not published
