gridview to excel sends controls on the page

hi;
i send my gridview to excel thats fine but i add two textboxes and buttons on my page
that user can pick date then fill the gridview again.
i have a link button on my page "send excel" now there is a problem when i send the gridview to excel my buttons and text boxes go too. 
how can i get rid of that. and header & columns are too big or too little but the important part is getting rid of buttons and textboxes , thanks
