Hey All,
I'm making a comment form for my blog and even though I don't want to allow HTML input, I do want to allow people to place links, images (by linking to
Flikcr or Photobucket) and Flash embed codes in their posts.
Basically I need to turn URL into <a href="URL">URL</a> and IMAGE_URL into <img src="IMAGE_URL" /> but I don't know how to go about this.
I'm also not sure how to handle the Flash embed code situation.
I know this functionality exist and 'cause even this forum turns an url into a clickable link (in runtime!!!). I can't find any good solutions though.
Would love to get some help.
