Hi,
we changed the webserver where an ASP.Net webservice is hosted from an Win2k3 with IIS6 to a Win28r2 with IIS7.5 machine.
Also the .Net Framework version changed from 1.1 to 4.5.
The web.config file of both locations is also exactly the same.
The URL of the webservice is exactly the same as before, because we use an DNS alias.
But we have an activeX component - which could not be changed easily - that is also consuming that webservice. And now we get errors.
I created a small ASP.Net program for testing and that is consuming the webservice at its new location. Even there I got a problem because the webservice suddenly has multiple endpoints and I think this could also be the problem of our activeX component.
