ContentType Object not a collection

I've saved an  image file in a SQL Server record and now I'm trying to display the image (imgField).  I'm using some code that does this in another web site.
 
    Response.ContentType "application/PDF"
    Response.BinaryWrite imgField
 
I get the error message "Object not a collection 'ContentType'" when the Response.ContentType line is executed.
 
Can't figure out what is causing the problem.  Any suggestions?
