Access a variable dynamically in vb?

Hi,
If i have the following simple code where i need to refer to a variable dynamically and set a new value, how can i do this?
Dim option1 = "test", option2 = ""
For i=1 To 2
    Dim curOption = Page.FindControl("option" & (i + 1)) ' This is wrong
    response.write("curOption is currently " & curOption & "<br />")
    curOption = "New Values" ' As an example this is going to overwrite option1 and option2 to the same value
   response.write("curOption has now been changed to " & curOption)
Next
