VS2005 Slow Directory Changeing

I have a solution that has 7 projects in it the 3 main projects are our c# core, c# data, and VB web. The build works fine and IE is poped up in about 10-15 seconds, the pain comes from when our initial screen is rendered that if we switch to any directorys within the web site it takes between 15-20 seconds to change. Once you have switched to that directory it is fine untill you recomplie the application. While in development we may have to switch between 3-5 directorys before we are able to get to the page we need to be on. This adds up quickly taking upwards of a minute or two every time we complie.

 

Any ideas on why this may be happening?
