I'm facing an absurd problem and it's killing me. I'm creating an ASP.NET 2.0 web application and using membership, i've created the complete database using aspnet_ regsql, i'm also able to create users and roles using the website admin tool
but
surprisingly only usres data is being shown there in tables, i can't see the roles' data in roles table (aspnet_roles , aspnet_UsersInRoles) for e.g. i don't fetch a single records for this query
select u.UserId, u.UserName,r.RoleId
from aspnet_Users u inner join aspnet_UsersInRoles r
on u.UserId=r.UserId
However site admin tool nicely shows all the roles and users data , plze help me understand where the hell this data is?????????
