Hi All
I have created a virtual server with Win 2008 R2, installed SQLEXPRESS and
Application Compatibility Toolkit.
When I run the ACT and try to create a database I can connect to me database
(local)\SQLEXPRESS but no databases appear in the box below. I can type the name
of a database and click create, but when I do I get a red error saying:
"This database is not compatible with this application"
I check SQL Server Manager Studio and it has created the database. I have
checked all permissions that I think are relevant:
(local)\Administrator has "dbcreator" server role
(local)\Administrator has the database ticked in "User Mapping" and db_owner,
db_datareader, db_datawriter and public permissions
Under the database - security - users I have the administrator account and
the service "nt service\mssql$sqlex ...
