How do I successfully copy a VS2005 asp.net 2.0 web application solution from one diectory to another ?

Hi;
I am trying to copy a VS2005 solution whose directory contains two folders projects and websites.
The projects folder contains several projects besides the main web project and when I copy the directory all the projects are
copied except the website project ?
The directory tree looks somethinh like this -
  c:\appRedesign2012\App_New10312012\App_New\
  app_New - project \ websites
      project - Solution Files - App_New\app_code-appData-otherweb directories and default.aspx - InnerProject1 - InnerProject2 - InnerProject3.
 websites - App Data - App Themes - Other files
WHY 2 folders in the directory ?
How do I successfully copy the web application files from one directory to another or export from my source code database -Subversion ?
