Validate Phone Number

I'm trying to validate a number such as +44 (913) 621541254.
A number is valid if striping +() and - symbols reults in a string containing only digits.
I've tried doing it with this Regular Expression but it doesn't work:
^(\+[1-9][0-9]*(\([0-9]*\)|-[0-9]*-))?[0]?[1-9][0-9\- ]*$ 
 
Any ideas??
