Membership.DeleteUser() not working in catch block in CreateUserWizard_UserCreated event. The user does not get deleted even while the function returns true. Membership.DeleteUser() works in the catch block of CreateUserWizard_UserCreated event.
Actually, when the user is created, I am inserting additional user data like First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Sex, DOB etc. into my custom table. Now, after the user is created, I retreive the UserID (GUID) and insert it along with my other custom fields into my table. Now, if some environmental/netwrok or other error occurs after the user is inserted into the aspnet_Users table and the user data is not inserted into my custom table, I would like to delete the user details from all the membership tables.
